Rules are made to be broken? Let’s us Pray!

All this talk of cheating had me running around in circles. Would I cheat someone intentionally? Would you? Let us think about this for a few minutes. TIc Tic Tic. Solitaire I am sure some of you that are reading this remember solitaire? No not the one that came installed on your Windows computer, the kind that you actually had to open a box, or remove a rubber band from a deck of cards, shuffle and deal. Stop think have you turned over the cards in the correct order all thru the game never to deviate? Ever peaked at on of the hidden cards? Well if you have you cheated! Plain and simple Right? But who did you cheat? You aren’t playing anyone but yourself, you aren’t being ranked for a prize or a cash out? You not really cheating are you? I have cheated a few times I am not perfect.

I will tell you I like playing games, ball games, card games, head games etc… Ill stop there want to keep this non NSFW ! (joke for all you). There are the fun players that play and could care less what happens they are just happy to be playing. There are the ultimate players that have to win and every thing has to be done 100% to the rules! There are the casual players that just try it out don’t understand the game but want to have fun! I like all players makes the game interesting. What does all this have to do with Rules being made to be broken, and Praying?

What I really wanted this post to include is in the age of time that I am in this world I have raised 6 children, 3 mine 2 hers and 1 ours, if you want the break down! We of course do not or have we ever looked at it that way! They are all “Our” Kids. My kids lost their mother to cancer when they were very young, We had our ups and downs and excitement in the household as you can imagine, I mean at one time there were 4 teens in the house, but that is a completely different story, and I am way off track.

The only reason I brought up the kids is so I can talk about video gaming and cheating, we are taught I think that cheating is OK. Don’t beleive me go to Target game section look at all the magazines on how to cheat, cheat codes, walk thrus, now you can do a google search for cheats and see what comes up? There are programs marketed that helps you cheat. Some people will come up with the stupid comment, (I could give an example here but won’t) “just because it is there doesn’t mean it’s is right, cheating on an online game is like smoking crack or using illegal drugs”. ( I lied gave the example anyway).

Let us pray, for sake of argument I am on an on-ling game and it is solitaire my chips are my chips and I may win a fake trophy if I win so many games in a row. I figure out that if the ace of spades shows up on the down turn and I left click on it 3 times I get a free fake trophy I fill my trophy case wouldn’t you? I mean that is how the game was written. Have you heard of Easter Egg, Glitch. Back Door, or would you rather call it an EXPLOIT! sounds better don’t it?

Then to be fair we can start a forum for all to start having conversations on the game and slanderinging eachother call a spade a spade so to speak, but wait this may curtail sails of the game to newbies we can not have this so everyonce in a while have some-one grab an eraser and get rid of the negative items. Grow the business.
