ArtMoney And Phantom EFX
To Cheat or not to Cheat that is the question. Just WTF is the answer? With all the latest fiasco on the Phantom EFX on-line casino. I thought I would do a little detective work. Seem that some players found a nifty little program that would add to your account and was (according to the website) Totally Legal!.
Well Legal according to who (or is it whom?). The program does it’s “magic” by finding the specific address where a quantity exists such as dollars, bullets, swords, lives, etc. etc. etc. etc.
Example if you know you have 239000 dollars, then ArtMoney will search for that amount and you can change it to 467645347363774 or what ever, you do the actual changing of the number so in reality the program is not cheating…. Hmm.
This again from their page “using artmoney is totally legal, it is not a copy, hack, crack or an unprotected. ” It also goes on to say you may not use it for illegal actions. Confused? Yeah Me too, so more digging.
I did find this on another page, ArtMoney is not intended for multiplayer or online games, but sometimes it can work. Strange indeed, so I dug a little deeper and got into the FAQ.
The very first question on the list, lo and behold. “Can we use this software to cheat in multiplayer/online games? NOW so I don’t screw up I am going to copy and paste the answer here with a link back.
1. Can we use this software to cheat in multiplayer/online games?
ArtMoney is not intended for multiplayer or online games. ArtMoney allows you to change values stored on your PC. Whether ArtMoney works in multiplayer/online-games or not depends on where the user-data is stored (if it is stored on the server PC or if it is stored on your PC). - If the user-data is stored on the server PC then the server holds the actual values. The values on your PC are just local copies of the user-data. If you change a value on your PC (like you have 5 bullets and give yourself 100 bullets) the server still holds the old data (5 bullets). If you shoot once the server decreases his data by 1 and sends the new value (4 bullets) to your PC. So your changes have no effect. But it could happen that the game recognizes the difference between the server-value and the value stored on your PC and excludes you from the game (because you cheated). If you sit on the server PC (if you play a game in a local network) you normally can cheat this game and you normally could also modify the values of all other players (because the server stores the data of all users). If you play an online game and the user-data is stored on the Internet-server then you have no chance to cheat this game using ArtMoney. ArtMoney can not access the data on the Internet-server.
- If the user-data is stored on your PC then your PC stores all data. The values on the server are just copies. So here you can use ArtMoney to cheat this game. Your changes will take effect. Here it is not important if you play a multiplayer game or an online game, you can cheat the game.
Now I am not an expert, but the way I interpret this valuable piece of information is that Phantom EFX is using all the little users hard drives to the data on. What a coincidence! How many people have had a hard drive failure since installing all of the EFX games. I for one have and I know of at least 3 others in my guild.
Seems like all of this could have been avoided if Phantom hosted the game and all the data on their own server instead of expecting us not to play with the data that resides on our own hard drive, with their server data being just a copy.
I do not feel sorry for them at all, game hacks and cheats have been around since pong.

Phantom you suck butt, what a bunch of jerks, you can take your game and sick where the son does not shine, I know about 50 people have canceled there memberships in the past week alone.
Thanks Fool I hope this does make it on phantoms message board for all the a$$ kissers to see how they are being used and to stupid to know it. What a bunch of idiots. I hope every single one of them loses there hard drives, Hell what I would kill for is to see them all get hacked or a nasty little virus put on there.

Exactly and for the last 3 or 4 years Queen Linda has been telling everyone who complains that it is there computer, lmao I guess it is!!! running phantoms game. I have said for oh at least 2.5 years that they were using our computers data etc, that is why everyone can reset any increase pays/timer etc on phantom by just simply clicking the system clock and changing from one day to the next, phantom can’t do a damn thing about it because they using our computers to run there game. They have been laughing all the way to the bank as we players test there games for them and they use our system to store there data, shame on you phantom, also about 6 or 8 months ago when the stupid Fishing Fortune slot came out no one could run it unless we all changed our codec’s and msconfig files in order to do it, then when I did that it fried my motherboard via way of video card. I know about 5 people this has has happened to. Way to go phantom you are a real piece of work, I think your programmers need to go hit another joint and hang it up. Oh and by the way I hope your new race car crashes into the wall. You deserve it.

i used art money for over a year now,and yes it works you gain gold nuggets in spirits, gems at the gem store, exp points to level up, play slots and win realworld and or dreamworld money, and guess why they tell u its not legal to use a sniffer program they to work, dont beleave me to bad!! just look at the trill table. and no im not sorry i enjoy the hack.

Exactly they need to fix there darn game have been saying that since I have been on there, that is why they are going to the new games in a few months, because there is no way they can begin to undo 3 years worth of using our computers.

My question is, if anyone from phantom bothers to read this and not just sweep it under the rug and hide it. If this program has been around and in use for over a year, what now? Gonna go back a year?

I guess they have decided to sweep it under the rug, because I posted this link on there message boards in about 3 or 4 places and the same old butt kissers attacked me and then phantom (justin) deleted it. They make me sick, I signed onto there game last night and I know I saw the same old people that did all the cheating in the dw tourneys playing, phantom did nothing to them.
The ban the same old players and let the others in the butt kissing club go by with nothing same chit, just another day.

wow cool blog… finally somewhere to post and chat that phantom can’t enforce their ego upon me. Well if you are a cheater and lookin for someone to blame, I will take the heat. Okay so I got drunk one night and maybe told someone that I hardly knew about artmoney. Is that a crime? Damn next thing I know like two weeks later the sheet had been lifted and Josh goes on a tirade because he thought that nobody would find loopholes in his code. Well, I’m a programmer too. Cheating has been around for years because there is no such thing as full proof code. Their is a group in the programming world that I am a supporter of that pushes for free software (not free as in price but free as in code so that everyone can see it, and learn from mistakes and good techniques). Becasue phantom does not share my views, I have a total of 12 cheats that can be used to exploit the game. Some of which are shareware programs over the net, most are programs that I wrote(Please dont ask me to share them, not without a few beers in my system at least lol. Last time I did that I ruined some fun 4 people, not my intention). All of which I use to help me understand how the game was programmed (bad techniques so I don’t repeat them, and good techniques so I can learn from them. Truth is I was angry at the person I told at first, but that was short lived, how can I be mad at someone that used what I told them for the purpose that it was designed for, moreover for a split second I was no better than Linda or Josh (shame on me). So go ahead, if your angry with me then throw a tomato (ducking). And yes I did get banned when I first started playin the game for calling Linda a fat bitch (snickering). Remember, “software is like sex, its best when its free.” Wocka Wocka Wocka.

I’m a cheater too. I downloaded Art Money cause someone in the game told me how to do it and levled myself to 70 and deleted the program. It was kinda cool. Phantom banned me and took all my money that I had earned, even though I had never cheated anyone or in any tourneys. I was willing to take my ban and being put back to my level (high 50s) but taking my money as part of my “punishment” is assanine. I hate the whole nasty community. There are “cliques” and real “cheaters” and if u kiss the right butt, u can do what you want. I ain’t kissin butt. ewwww

If you were playing for a prize or for real money then you would be cheating. I get a lot of flack for this but the way I see it with the multi-level marketing on cheats, hacks, walk-thrus, etc etc etc I don’t see that you did anything wrong. Look how much Phantom could have cashed in on going the route of writing a book or selling a cheat. Instead they give you double pays, extra spins blah blah blah, then wonder why people get bored. It is fixed now? Yes, just like you can’t adjust the system clock anymore. As long as there is a game there will be people trying to game the game, no matter how many Mountain Dew’s it takes. Code Monkey like Freto’s, The only person you cheated was yourselves. You deprived yourselves of taking a lifetime to get through the game and become a level 70. Linda and Josh can be very rude and really do not see how they get by being that way. Good luck with them on their next game I won’t be PAYING for it this time.

I agree. I had two accounts and just cancelled them both. Until they get some “decent” people working for them…their new game can go bust for all I care. I’m also telling all my “friends” who play every nasty thing the “manager” ever said to me. Maybe they’ll cancel too.

I had two accounts as well and have canceled both of them, I use the cheat (artmoney) as well and only got levels and nuggets lol and was banned for a month, I have never and never will cheated in a tourney. I know about 3 people who did the same thing, hell I did it for them and they got nothing, no ban no nothing so that just shows that phantom lies and does not treat people the same. The thought of kissing Linda’s & Joshes butts is just sick, not in my lifetime. It has now been 3 weeks I have been playing someone else and finding out, I can makes friends where ever I go and there is no one sided bullchit. I am just as happy playing there as anywhere hell there is even more to do.
Nice thing is there is no pb’s or casino managers, I feel they should not be seen at all in a game, they should have a host button and if someone needs something they click it and get the help. Then you will not have any of the ass kissing etc. Treat it like a business and not a personal chat room. Phantom only wants that so they can read all the so called private chat fucks. Get a life phantom!!!!!!

I read similar article also named g Phantom EFX, Artmoney | FOOLSVILLE 2.0, and it was completely different. Personally, I agree with you more, because this article makes a little bit more sense for me
